Sponsored Post Rates by Follower Count: 1K to 100K
A common starting point is $5–$10 per 1,000 followers for an Instagram post, so about $50–$100 at 10K and $500–$1,000 at 100K, with Reels a little more. Indian agency rate cards put a Reel at ₹2,000–₹10,000 for nano creators and ₹8,000–₹75,000 for micro. All of these are estimates to start a negotiation, not market prices.

Influencer rates in dollars
International rate guides give wider tiers. Influencer Marketing Hub's 2026 benchmarks for one Instagram post put micro creators (10K–100K) at $100–$500 or more, which overlaps the calculator's prices from 10K to 50K followers.
| Tier | Followers | Per post |
|---|---|---|
| Nano | Under 10K | $10–$100+ |
| Micro | 10K–100K | $100–$500+ |
| Mid-tier | Not stated | $500–$5,000+ |
| Macro | 100K–1M | $5,000–$10,000+ |
| Mega | 1M+ | $10,000+ |
How a sponsored post price is worked out
Brands price creator content like advertising: an amount per 1,000 people reached. Feed posts and Stories are priced on followers, since most of their reach comes from them. Video is priced on average views, because that's what the brand gets. These are the calculator's starting rates:
| Deliverable | Priced on | Per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram feed post | Followers | $5–$10 |
| Instagram Reel | Followers | $7–$14 |
| Instagram Story (per frame) | Followers | $2–$4 |
| TikTok video | Average views | $8–$18 |
| YouTube integration (60–90 s) | Average views | $20–$40 |
| Dedicated YouTube video | Average views | $45–$100 |
| YouTube Short | Average views | $8–$18 |
| X post | Followers | $1–$4 |
What raises or lowers your price
- Niche: finance, business and tech pay most, gaming and comedy least. The calculator moves the price from -10% to +50%.
- Engagement: above the usual range for your size adds 25%; below it takes off 20%. The engagement rate calculator tells you which.
- Usage rights, when the brand runs your content as its own ad: +30% for 30 days, +60% for 90 days, +80% for longer and +100% in perpetuity.
- Exclusivity, when you agree not to work with competitors: +15% for 30 days, up to +50% for longer.
- A deadline under a week: +25%.
- Bundles: several deliverables together usually cost less each than the same pieces sold one by one.
How to quote a brand
- Have your number ready before you ask for their budget, so you can spot a low offer.
- Quote a package (for example one Reel and three Story frames) rather than a per-post minimum.
- Itemise usage rights and exclusivity, so the brand sees what it's paying for and can drop them.
- Send your media kit with your average views and engagement: brands decide on those more than on followers.
