Post Utils

Privacy

Post Utils is built so that what you make stays yours. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the site.

Your photos and text

Every tool runs in your browser. Photos you open and text you type are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. When you close the tab, they're gone.

YouTube thumbnails

The YouTube Thumbnail tool loads thumbnails directly from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com). YouTube receives that request as it would for any page showing the thumbnail. We don't see or store the links you paste.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other sites. It sees the page you visited, the referring site, and your country and device type.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and page views, as session recordings and heatmaps) so we can find and fix problems. The tools themselves are hidden from these recordings, so Clarity never sees the text you type or the photos you open. Clarity uses cookies. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Settings in your browser

A few preferences, such as light or dark mode and your saved hashtag sets, are saved in your browser's local storage so they're remembered next time. They never leave your device. Clarity sets its own cookies, described above.
